Darah Cunningham Joins Board of Directors for AACE International Houston Gulf Coast Section
The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineers (AACE) Houston Gulf Coast Region has added Darah Cunningham of OGCS Global, to their Board of Directors.
Founded in 1956, AACE International is a global authority in cost engineering and project management, setting standards of technical expertise and delivering professional certifications. The Houston Gulf Coast Section has over 1,200 members and includes professional experts in estimating, cost control, planning, and project management. Darah has extensive networks amongst this audience of cost estimators, cost engineers, schedulers and project managers.
Darah first came across the AACE 18 years ago, when as a new recruiter for oil and gas, she took their “Project Controls 101” course to gain an understanding of the field. Since then, she has remained an active member. As a Board member, Darah supports the section’s initiatives, including promoting the monthly technical sessions, suggesting and securing technical experts for key presentations, and enhancing member engagement through events such as the annual symposium.
“The AACE has helped me understand and navigate a complex field and has helped me hugely in my career.” Darah explains. “I’m excited to further support this community of professionals who drive successful project delivery.”
