OGCS Guinea SARL is a consultancy company specializing in the provision of multi-disciplined Project Management Services to the Global Mining and Energy Industry. We invite applicants for the role of Rail Auxiliary Systems Delivery Manager for the Simandou project in Guinea, West Africa.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Rail Auxiliary Systems Delivery Manager to support the Simandou Rail Project Manager. This role is based at the Rail Camps in Guinea, and is part of a safety-driven, inclusive team working on a world-class project.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be:
Performing Verification and Assurance activities for HSE, Quality, Security, PARC, Permitting and any other relevant requirements that the site construction teams are to comply with.
Ensuring all construction activities are supported with permits and land acquisitions in time for planned execution timelines.
Performing detailed engineering progress reviews for any remaining work that the team is to complete.
Leading interface meetings on behalf of Rail Supervisor for Mine, WCS and Rolling Stock, ensuring any actions on Rail are closed in a timely manner.
Assisting in setting up commissioning plans, strategies and the Commissioning Management System.
Overseeing strategy and performance of commissioning team to ensure team is prepared, equipped and efficiently executing as per commissioning plan.
Visiting suppliers as needed to provide assurance on quality OEM builds.
Reviewing procurement plans and performance from contractors to ensure they keep up with schedule requirements.
Assisting quality team with an external to site support needed. Coordinating resolutions as required.
