Celebrating partnership, purpose and people at the OGCS Crawfish Boil in Houston, TX

OGCS’s annual Crawfish Boil returned to Karbach Brewery in Houston this month, drawing a vibrant crowd of over 100 contractors, clients, colleagues, and members of the wider OGCS community.

The OGCS Annual Crawfish Boil has become a much-loved tradition — an opportunity to gather in a relaxed setting and celebrate the relationships, hard work, and shared values that drive OGCS forward.

This year’s event carried additional significance, as it reflects OGCS’s renewed commitment to our original vision: to be the go-to partner for commercial services across the energy sector and beyond.

With a team known for expert guidance, bold problem-solving, and a corporate reputation for solving complex challenges with clarity and precision, the Crawfish Boil wasn’t just a celebration — it was a living example of the culture that supports long-term value for our clients.

Senior Vice Presidents Chris Bradshaw, Michael Ibarra, Richard Smith, and Executive Vice President Ed Comiskey circulated at the event, enjoying the chance to connect with familiar faces and meet new ones. Among the OGCS newcomers in Houston were John McCulloch, VP Quantity Surveying & Commercial Services, and Devon Beaver, Business Administrator, two recent additions to the OGCS team who are making their impact known.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, guests enjoyed locally crafted crisp Karbach beers, OGCS-branded sweet treat cookies, and of course, a bountiful spread of perfectly seasoned crawfish. A lighthearted raffle added to the fun with suspense and delight as the winners were announced.

“These events bring OGCS to life,” said Ed Comiskey, Executive Vice President. “It’s not just about the work — it’s about the partnerships, the people, and the purpose we share.”

As OGCS continues to grow, the event also underscored our purpose: delivering precise, cost-effective commercial services that help clients reduce risk, optimize operations, and achieve measurable results.  Learn more about the OGCS approach through our Mission, Vision and Values.

For OGCS, bringing people together isn’t just tradition — it’s a cornerstone of how we build trust, grow capabilities, and lead with purpose across the energy sector and beyond.
