Overview
Our Contracts Specialists and Supply Chain Professionals have provided support to clients on many of the world’s largest Upstream Oil and Gas projects. We have significant experience in-house throughout the Contracts lifecycle from initial strategy development through execution to final close out and are looking to expand our team.
Through several very exciting and new opportunities we are currently looking for Contracts Managers with in-depth project experience in LNG, Renewables, Subsea, Onshore, and Petrochemical to join our dynamic team in the Americas.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership in the development and implementation of contracting strategies, standards, processes, systems and plans for the complex capital mega projects that will ensure the safe delivery of value maximizing investments.
Take part in management and commercial meetings both internally and externally with Contractors and main subcontractors.
Establish Contract Requirement Plan from Main Contract (identifying main contract elements, risks, main deliverable and specific pertinent Contractor requirements and deliverables).
Provide support and advice on any immediate and current commercial and contractual issues/concerns.
Support any required further market engagement by way of pre-qualification, Invitation to Tender, Tender engagement and management, evaluations, clarification, negotiation leading to award.
Qualifications
Contracts / commercial functional expertise
Procurement experience in the Energy Industry strongly preferred
Strong communication skills
Analytical skills / understanding of total system cost concept
Effective negotiation, advocacy and influencing skills
Project planning / execution / organization skills
Team player
